You can now play PS4 games on your iPhone
Sony has launched the PS4 Remote Play app for iOS… So if you have a modern PlayStation 4 and a new iDevice, then you can now play PS4 games on your iPhone or iPad.
You can play PS4 games on some Android devices (Sony Xperia) for several years now. In addition, Remote Play apps are available for Windows and Mac. Now Sony has provided the same functionality to iOS devices.
How to play PS4 games on iPhone or iPad
The ability to play PS4 games on an iPhone or iPad appeared in version 6.50 of the PlayStation 4 firmware. After updating the PS4, just download and install the app PS4 Remote Play for iOS… Alternatively, turn on your PS4 and sign in.
Open the app and log into your PlayStation account. The program will search your home network for the PS4. If successful, you should see the PS4 home screen on your device iOS… If not, add the iOS device via PS4 Remote Play Connection Settings.

PS4 Remote Play is essentially a mirror of what’s on your PS4 to another device. Unfortunately, this only works on your home network. You also need a new iPhone or iPad running iOS 12.1 or later.
PS4 Remote Play app also doesn’t support Sony DualShock 4 controllers without jailbreaking your device or using a complex workaround. However, if the touchscreen controls seem too disappointing, you can use the MFi gamepad.
