Microsoft has released a test build of Windows 11 numbered 22463. The insiders got access to it, according to the official developer blog.
It was noted that the preview build of Windows 11 has a large number of fixes that are aimed at improving the stability of the system. In particular, the specialists fixed an error due to which the explorer could freeze while using the internal search engine.
Also, the placement of icons on the taskbar has been changed, where the button “Show hidden icons” has ceased to overlap them. The “System” menu can now be called from the context menu that appears when you right-click on the “Start” button.
The specialists also added the ability to copy the path to the folder selected in the explorer to the clipboard using the Ctrl + Shift + C keyboard shortcut. The Options shortcut menu now has rounded corners.
We also changed the colors of the contrasting theme to make hyperlinks easier to see when you hover over them. New elements for more detailed customization have been added to the settings of the “Focusing” option.
The stable version of Windows 11 is slated to ship on October 5th. Moreover, the changes made in the test variation may not be included in it, because for this they need to go through a full test cycle and get final approval.
