Fortnite Battle Royale Out on Android over a year ago, but you can’t download the game from Google Play (most likely because Epic didn’t want to give Google a discount on in-app purchases). In theory, you need to download the game using the Epic Games App, but it is also not available in the Play Store.
But don’t worry. It’s not that hard, thanks to this quick guide that shows you how to install Fortnite on Android.
Before you start, remember that Fortnite is a pretty demanding game. Your smartphone must meet the following technical criteria:
- 64-bit Android on ARM64 processor,
- Android 8.0 or above,
- 4GB RAM,
- GPU: Adreno 530 or above, Mali-G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or above.
If your smartphone meets these criteria, follow these steps:
Visit the website first fortnite.com/android on your smartphone, then click Get it on the Epic Games App.
Here you can download the Epic Games app through which you can download Fortnite.
Note: You may be asked to allow Chrome to download apps from unknown sources. If the phone asks, tap Settings, then Allow from source.
After downloading the APK of the Epic Games app, install it and open the app.
